Review by hotel critic
As a nature-loving traveler from the state of Washington, I can't recommend the Beach Bothies in the Isle of Lewis highly enough. the pods are incredibly well-equipped, with luxury bedding, WiFi, and even a gas BBQ right on the wooden decking overlooking the private beach. Dave and Julie, the warm and welcoming hosts, made us feel like old friends from the moment we arrived. The location is truly spectacular with stunning views of the sea and access to some of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the island. We enjoyed watching the waves ebbing and flowing, feeling the tranquility wash over us. the pods are spacious and cozy, with all the comforts of home. For those who enjoy fishing, the fresh water lochs are a paradise for brown trout fishing. And if you're lucky, you might even spot a white-tailed sea eagle soaring overhead with its impressive 2-meter wingspan. From the warm welcome box to the thoughtful amenities provided, everything was impeccable. We will definitely be back to this peaceful and remote village of Kneep to enjoy more of what the Isle of Lewis has to offer. Thank you, Dave and Julie, for creating such a special place for travelers like us to enjoy.
